Compensation for BC's Top 100 Executives

Barry Cook, Partner at WCBC, is extensively quoted in Business in Vancouver's annual report on the 100 highest paid executives in BC.
Salaries increased 3% on average over the previous year, but total compensation went up considerably more as the result of higher bonuses and share-based awards. Cook commented on the trend towards basing a large proportion of executive pay on company performance, and considerations with respect to incentive plan design.
