Data is collected and reported on salary ranges, base salaries and total cash (base salary plus bonus) in annual amounts effective September 1, 2009. Statistical breakdowns include: average, 25th, 50th and 75th percentiles weighted by company as well as incumbent. Geographic coverage includes all of Canada and is segmented by province, sector and revenue.
Data is also collected and reported on whether organizations: determine bonus awards based on corporate, division or individual performance, or various combinations thereof; provide various types of mid- or long-term incentive plans; provide incumbents with stock options; provide pension plans (including plan details); provide various types of group insurance plans; and provided various types of executive perks.
